The Guild BTS Specials

There are two new Guild specials up on MSN Video.

At 4:24pm on Tuesday April 28th Knights of the Guild podcast hit the big 10,000 downloads.

Delta H Con

This past weekend The Guild Cast; Sandeep, Robin, Jeff and Vince along with Producer Kim were in Texas at the Delta H Con. One of our loyal listeners Andres along with some of his friends attended and we roped him in to being our on site reporter. He got some pre-con stuff as well as some interviews with the cast. I'm currently cutting it into a microcast and should have it done sometime this week.

New Logo Progress

Just got to see a rough version of our new Logo. My friend Jen (co-host of the Anomaly Podcast) and a wonderful graphic designer is taking our very cool caricatures done by Matt and creating a brand new Logo for our Knights of the Guild podcast. And I have to say what I have seen so far is AWESOME.. can't wait for her to finish it so we can get it on bookmarks, magnets and T-shirts. Soon as it's done will reveal it here on our blog.

Just finished editing KOTG #3, sent it off to Jenni for review and then on April 15th it will go up into the feed. I may tweak it a bit more but for the most part I think it's good to go.

The Guild Season Two DVD

There are no details listed about the Extras but as soon as we find out will let you guys know and probably do a microcast on it.

Editing KOTG #3

Started Editing Knights of the Guild Podcast #3. Still have six days left until it is posted and I'm about 1/3 of the way through it, at least with cutting it down. Here is my process on how I go about editing a podcast.

* First, it's recorded
* Second, I do a pass and go through and cut out the pauses and some ums and lip smack.
* Third, I do another pass and cut out stuff that I feel doesn't pertain to anything we are talking about or if I feel a conversation is going to long I'll pull out parts for time.
* Fourth, I go through and add the interviews, bumpers, and commercial for other podcasts.
* Fifth, I go in and add SFX if needed.
* Sixth, I do a music pass, we don't use that much music but I add it here and there.
* Seventh, I do one final pass and make any last minute changes.

Then it's done. Takes about one full day of work but normally I spread it over two days.

Hey all, I put the call out to other cast members to see if I could get autographed photos of them as well as I'm sure you guys are interested in all of them and I've already heard back from a few of them. So far Michele Boyd (Riley aka Stupid Tall Hot Girl) confirmed that she'll get us some autographed photos. So as soon as I get them I'll post a picture of it.

Thanks to all those who donate. Believe me your money is being put to good use. So far we purchased another microphone, now Jenni and I don't have to share. We have gotten a mini MP3 recorder, which you guys heard Jenni, *cough* I mean Penny use at the Streamys. And we have paid for our podcast website and other web expenses. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

Finished Recording

Wow.. 2 hours of crazy fun. Jenni just left my house. We had a great time recording KOTG Ep. 3 tonight. It's going to be really tough cutting this episode down. We had a great fan and cast interview. Now it's time for me to start editing this episode. We are still on schedule to upload this podcast on April 15th.

We go back to last Saturday and join our intrepid reporter Penny Jowell as she reports on the Guild cast and crew while they walk the red carpet, watch the Streamys live and head to the after parties.

The Guild won three Streamy Awards

• Best Ensemble Cast
• Best Actress (Felicia Day)
• Best Comedy Web series

Ms. Jowell was joined by Robert Welkner. Robert is one of the hosts of COIN-OP TV LIVE, which is part of TheStream.TV network. Along with his co-host Hailey Bright, It is the second longest running show on the network with one of the largest loyal followings.
