We have a very special Microcast this week. A few weeks back during Dragon Con a photo was floating around cyberspace showing fans dressed up as The Guild character Avatar outfits. I thought it would be fun to chat with them and see how they pulled this off so quickly, among other things. So Jenni and I sat down with them over skype and had a fun conversation.

We would like to Thank David (Bladezz far left), CJ (Vork), James (Zaboo), Lisa (Codex), Daniella (Dancer), Rogue (Bladezz far right), and Caitlin (Bladezz Groupie) for taking the time and chatting with Knights of the Guild. Also pictured above are Sidley (Clara), Beth (Tink) who couldn’t make the chat but we Thank them too for being awesome.

KOTG Microcast #7 Quest for Blizzcon

Last Month Jenni and I were lucky enough to volunteer for The Guild booth at Blizzcon. We were also lucky enough to record some audio from our days at the con.

  • We start with my intro as I head to Blizzcon.
  • I find Jenni and we hear what she did the previous night with the Guild cast, crew and fans.

  • We then go behind the stage as the Guild cast wait to go on stage for their panel, both Jenni and I interview cast members.
  • Then there are some Q & A from the Panel
  • After that we hold a raffle, we gave away 4 Zunes

  • And finally we are done and head back to our cars.

The audio is okay, we were using our portable recorder.

Hopefully we brought a little Blizzcon to those who could not make it and for those who did, hopefully we brought back some fun memories.

I met Nick at Blizzcon and he was the first person to recognize me from KOTG podcast as he made he way through the line to meet The Guild cast. I wanted to give him a t-shirt so I found him on Twitter @warplayer and hooked him up with a shirt.. and he sent a photo of himself wearing it.. first person to do so. Thanks Nick

Jenni's Tubefiler Article on BlizzCon


Hey Guildies! Look, I'm blogging! I know Kenny gives me a hard time about it, so I thought, "as soon as I have something worthy to blog about, I'm gonna do it!"

Blizzcon Day 2

After a wonderful morning I was on a high, but that was soon gone as I hit traffic driving to Anaheim and Blizzcon. I had a shift at The Guild's booth from 3pm to 8pm. Traffic was horrible, but I got there around 3:15 but then had to find parking as all the lots were full. I finally found something miles away so I didn't get to The Guild booth until 3:30pm. I got excited again about getting my keys and folks kept congratulating me as I showed them the actual key.

The booth was packed with Guild fans. The signing was fun, meet several folks who said how much they enjoy my Twitter feed. And at 5pm I was asked to run the raffle (The Guild was giving away 4 Zune MP3 players). I had Jeff (Vork) and Robin (Clara) pull the names out of Vork's deep fryer. That was a lot of fun. After that there was the cast's final signing. There was a new Cast photo/poster that a fan did for The Guild and I wanted a copy signed by everyone so I did that. I also got a picture with each cast member because I take 1000's of photos of the cast and crew but there are so very few pictures of me on set and none with the cast members.
